Mint Julep

Peralta Bourbon

Cold, sweet, minty & refreshing!


Ingredients (for 4 cocktails):

  • 1 cup mint simple syrup
  • 16oz Peralta Bourbn
  • Mint garnish


Mint Simple Syrup:

Combine 1 cup pure water, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/3 cup chopped mint leaves in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow syrup to cool, approximately 1 hour. Pour syrup through a strainer to remove mint leaves


Fill 4 tall glasses (traditionally a tall silver cup) with chipped ice. For special flair, freeze the glasses first & let them frost over before filling.

Pour 4oz Mint Simple Syrup & 4oz Peralta Bourbon over the ice in each glass. (Adjust according to your personal sweet tooth!)

Top with a sprig of mint garnish
